HOLLONGI, Feb 27: Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar today visited the ongoing developmental projects in Hollongi under Balijan Sub-division of Papum Pare district to take updates on progress of works.
The CS was accompanied by Secretary, Disaster Management Dani Sulu, Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu, SP Capital Jimmy Chiram, ADC Balijan Tasso Gambo, HoDs of the project executing departments like PWD, Power and other officers. While visiting the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) headquarters in Hollongi, he interacted with the officers of 12 Bn NDRF followed by a visit to the proposed State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) headquarter site near Hollongi where he was briefed  about the Master Plan by the officers of the PWD. Kumar also took updates on the progress of construction of the new Greenfield Airport wherein representatives from the construction agency briefed about the progress of works and related matters. From there he visited the Organic Oasis Farm run by Organic Farmers’ Association Arunachal and Van Vigyan Kendra in Chessa.
The Chief Secretary also visited the Papum Pare Eco Agro Farm in Sonajuli village located along the Arunachal-Assam border foothills built by Tana Nekam Tara, a progressive entrepreneur-cum-farmer. DIPRO
