ITANAGAR, Sep 2: The Kargu Kardi Students Union (KKSU) on Wednesday condemned the repeated press statement made by the Tanii Development Forum in connection with the demise of a woman employee of APCCF Limited. In a release, the student organization termed the statement as “misleading” and an attempt to tarnish the hard-earned image of the Managing Director (MD) of APCCFL, Birik Bole and also to mislead the investigation officer investigating the case.
Since a case has been registered in connection with the unfortunate demise of the woman, the Students Union appealed to the TDF to stop mocking the justice system and let law take its course of action as the case is still under investigation.
“Bole is one of the respected members of our society and has a reputed social image. The biased press statement daily made by the TDF despite the official cooperating with the investigation team has hurt the sentiments of the society,” it stated. Asserting that the union doesn't support/encourage any criminal activities, however, affirmed that it will also not tolerate any person/forum trying to intentionally harm or defame a senior member without any valid reason.
Furthermore, the union threatened to resort to democratic movement if the forum continued to tarnish the senior member's image through a social media campaign before the investigation is completed. KKSU PR
