ITANAGAR, Jan 27: Chief Minister Pema Khandu chaired a review meeting today on the progress of Smart City Project in the State. The meeting was attended by Urban Development Minister Kamlung Mossang and Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao. The Chief Minister urged that special emphasis must be given on sanitation and solid waste management. He reviewed the works being taken under the Smart City Mission for Itanagar and Pasighat. For transparency and improving efficiency across the administrative structure, the CM urged for relying more on IT and Electronics, which would help in improving quality of services to the citizens.
