LEMMI, Jun 10: The Pakke Kessang District Olympic Association (PKDOA) has mourned the death of Tacho Techi Tara, a senior karateka from the district, who passed away following prolonged illness on Wednesday at District Hospital Seppa.
PKDOA General Secretary Tate Tayem in a condolence message today said late Tacho a resident of Passa village was the first black belt holder in Karate from the District.
While extending heartfelt condolences to the family of the departed, Tayem said that the untimely demise of late karateka has created a vacuum and irreparable loss to the sports fraternity.
