ITANAGAR, May 7: Judge, Gauhati High Court, Justice Kalyan Rai Surana, and Justice Robin Phukan,  Judge, Gauhati High Court Itanagar Bench, Naharlagun made a courtesy call on Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar.
The Governor, who is also a law luminary, shared his observations of the legal system in the State with the Judges. He said that government officials must be thorough and perceptive when reaching out to courts for judicial remedies and resolutions.
The Governor also mentioned that he has personally been pursuing the case of an independent High Court for the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
The Governor and Judges shared their experiences and thoughts about the judicial system and also discussed about most up-to-date procedures and ways to expedite the dispensation of justice.
