ITANAGAR, Jul 1: With deep sorrow, the media fraternity of the state expresses its shock over the untimely death of one of its young members, Mintu Tamuli.
Reportedly, he died from a cardiac arrest on Thursday evening.
The 32-year-old journalist was associated with a number of electronic media organisations including Frontier TV, News18 Assam NE, Pratidin Time, Times Now, Arunachal Vision, CDCN, and Arunbhoomi.
It was just in February this year that Tamuli had lost his mother.
Originally hailing from New Rowmari in Assam, Tamuli was born in Arunachal Pradesh and raised in various parts of the state. 
The state media fraternity said that it has lost a true son of the soil in heart and spirit.
"We pray for the peace of the departed soul and the family he leaves behind," a statement said. 
He was also an active member of Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society. 
Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to Twitter to condole the passing of the young journalist. 
The Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress, President Geli Ete while mourning Tamuli's demise said "We had visited far flung areas of our state during my political tours and health camps. He was such a humble and real son of our state. I have lost a brother."
