Itanagar, Mar 2: Joint Secretary, MoH&FW, Government of India, Dr. Mandeep K Bhandari visited health facilities in Itanagar and Papum Pare on Tuesday and Wednesday  to take stock of the ground situation of the heath facilities and to access their functioning as per the nine key performance indicators(KPI) of the Niti Aayog.
He was accompanied by DC Papum Pare, Minga Sherpa, DC Capital Itanagar, Talo Potom, C.R Khampa, Mission Director (NHM), Dr.K Perme, DMO Yupia, Dr.D.Padung SNO (NHM). Dr. T.Mize, DRCHO ( DMO i/c), Dr.Runi Tasung, MCH, Dy.Director and Dr.Dipu Lowang.
The team visited Poma Primary Health Centre , Chimpu Primary Health Centre and RKM Hospital, Itanagar on March 1 and  today visited TRIHMS, Doimukh CHC and Gumto Health and Wellness Centre.
During the visit, the Joint Secretary took stock of the functioning of the health centres. He said that even though health services are being delivered in the facilities, data is not properly entered and uploaded in the portal. Hence, he asked for necessary  corrective measures to be carried out within 10 to 15 days.
