ITANAGAR, Oct, 30: The Joint Working Committee of Arunachal Pradesh Trade Unions (JWCAPTU) has submitted a memorandum to the Minister of Labour & Employment appealing for a release of home loans to at least 1000 registered labourers as per norms of the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB).
In its memorandum, JWCAPTU claimed that since the establishment of the APB&OCWWB, the registered workers have not received any benefit from the statutory plan provided by the Labour Welfare Board. It also sought an immediate release of the benefits regarding maternity, funeral, natural and accidental deaths, medical, marriage and educational assistance for its registered members.
