PASIGHAT, Nov 6: On the occasion of Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat Saptah (EBSB-IV), NCC cadets of JNC, Pasighat through an online presentation showcased the history, geography, cultural heritage, festivals, customs and traditions of Arunachal Pradesh to over 200 associate NCC officers and cadets.
The six-day online camp was conducted by NCC Group Headquarters, Dibrugarh on behalf of NCC Directorate Shillong for the NCC cadets of North Eastern Region, West Bengal and Sikkim Directorates. Conducted through Google Meet, it comprised presentations, discussions, self-made videos and interactions among NCC cadets of the three Directorates. Senior Under Officer (SUO) Vikram Biswakarma along with cadets Puja Kumari and Mamta Ray under the guidance of their Associate NCC officers and Care Taking Officer (CTO) represented 22 AP (I) Coy NCC, Pasighat. Commanding Officer of the unit Lt Col MS Nijjar informed that the online camp was organised to ensure continuous training of cadets during the pandemic when physical camping is not possible.
The aim of the EBSB Saptah, earlier known as the National Integration Camp of NCC cadets was to foster the spirit of national integration and solidarity among the youths of the country through online inter-state interaction and exchange of history, culture, tradition, cuisine etc. DIPRO
