​PASIGHAT, Aug 31: Jawaharlal Nehru College organized a warm and touching retirement program to honor the illustrious service of Dr. Keshav Kumar Jha (Associate Professor and former Head, Department of Zoology) alongside retiring contingency staff members Kishore Bahadur Chetri and Kumar Bahadur Chetri.
​Presiding over the function, Principal Dr. Gindu Borang recollected the remarkable journey of Dr. Jha, describing him as a true pillar of the institution. He lauded Dr. Jha’s dedicated service to the college and society, noting how his mentorship has led numerous students to achieve great success in life. He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the retiring contingency staffers praising them for leading fulfilling lives and successfully nurturing their children to achieve high standards. He wished all retirees good health, happiness, and a renewed life.
​Vice Principal Dr. Leki Sitang commemorated Dr. Jha not only as an exceptional educator but also as a fine leader and a devoted father, qualities visibly reflected in his children's personal and professional successes. He marked Dr. Jha as a genuine individual who takes immense pride in his students' accomplishments across various fields. Furthermore, Dr. Sitang expressed deep appreciation for Dr. Jha’s family, particularly acknowledging his better half for their unwavering love, dedication, and support throughout his professional journey.
