KHONSA, Jul 21:

 

The Government of Jammu & Kashmir has handed over cash award of Rs. 2 lakh to Chasen Lowang Dada wife of Martyr Hangpan Dada today.

The formal facilitation programme was held at 22 Punjab Mtn, Khonsa during which the cheque was handed over by Cdr 117 Mtn Bde to Chasen in presence of Deputy Commissioner Techu Aran,  SP Tirap Jitendra Kumar Meena, among others.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that land allotment for residential building for the Martyr’s wife is under process and will be settled soon on receipt of NOC from the forest department. The DC also assured that the district administration is always there to help her in every possible way.
