ITANAGAR, Jun 28: Officers and personnel of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) who saved the lives of car accident victims including a lady with an infant near Gohpur Market on May 10 last were felicitated today by Governor of the state Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) here at Raj Bhavan.
The troops led by Deputy Commandant of ‘A’ coy of the 54th ITBP Battalion Himanshu Tiwari acting on their own initiative and displaying a fine example of humanitarian act came to the rescue of the accident victims. Governor while expressing appreciation for the troops said that their action reflects their intention to serve the general public whenever needed.
