Lower Subansiri, Namsai, Lohit, Anjaw will  also Unlock

ITANAGAR, June 5: The ongoing month-long containment (lockdown) in the Itanagar Capital Region is expected to be lifted from June 7 next. 
Chief Minister Pema Khandu who is also the chairman of the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) disclosed the information on his social media account today. “Chaired the SDMA meet today to review the COVID-19 situation in the state. We are witnessing encouraging results of the surveillance and containment measures undertaken so far. Containment to be lifted from 5 am on 7 June next in ICC, Lower Subansiri, Namsai, Lohit and Anjaw. However, we must continue to maintain extreme caution. To prevent the spread of infection, vaccination in urban areas must be only through online or offline registration for 18+ categories," the Chief Minister's social media statement read.
Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary  in a separate order stated that complete district-wide containment (lockdown) in Tawang and Upper Subansiri has been extended for seven more days, i.e. from 0500 hrs of 7 June 2021 to 0500 hrs of June 14 next. The CS has directed the respective Deputy Commissioners of the said districts to issue the Complete Containment (Lockdown) orders separately, outlining the district-specific containment (lockdown) measures in consultation with the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
The Order also added that in the remaining Districts of Arunachal Pradesh, the containment measures as issued by SDMA vide its order of even no. SEOC/DRR & DM/01/2011-12/, Dated 28.05.2021 shall continue to be implemented till 0500 hrs of 1 July next. The respective DCs shall issue containment orders separately outlining the district-specific containment measures for their respective district jurisdictions in consultation with the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
Any person/group of persons acting in violation of the order shall be deemed to have committed an offense punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act 2005, the order stated.
