Naharlagun, Nov 5: The Department of IPR will carry out publicity campaign at Kaho, the first village of India from the International boundary in Anjaw District including an extensive report on its natives, the Meyor tribe.
A team of IPR officers and technical staff left for Kaho early this morning. The team is led by Denhang Bosai, Deputy Director as team leader and is joined by Onyok Pertin, Deputy Director and ten other technical persons comprising of cameramen and field publicity staff in three vehicles including a publicity van. The team will reach Walong on Saturday and screen films in the evening. On November 7, the team will hold a function at Kaho Village as per the mutual agenda of the local administration and IPR department. The team will hoist the National Flag at Kaho & also present the tricolor to the headman of the village. The program will conclude with a documentary shooting of Kaho village and its people as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
