PASIGHAT, Jul 20:

 

To ensure effective and quality service to the consumers, Indian Oil Corporation in collaboration with department of Food and Civil Supplies organized “Check & Win”, an awareness camp cum workshop today here at the M/S Mamang Borang Petrol Depot, Pasighat in presence of the owner Kangkim Borang and East Siang DF&CSO Bijoy Pertin.

 

Speaking on the occasion, MK Pegoo, DGM (Retail Sales), Guwahati and Amlan Bharali, Assistant Manager, IOC Lakhimpur interacted with the customers and conducted various spot tests like filter paper and  specifically  designed container quantity test to ensure quality and quantity fuel to the consumers.

 

While sharing his views, DF&CSO Bijoy Pertin appreciated the efforts stating that adulterated fuel poses serious health hazards such as respiratory diseases and damage vehicles too. Adulteration can be effectively prevented with the cooperation and awareness of the people, he said adding that dealers should strictly maintain quality and deliver accurate quantity to the esteemed consumers besides promoting green environment.
