PASIGHAT, Sep 26: Mobile internet services in Upper Siang district, including the district headquarters Yingkiong has been snapped for the last three days since evening of September 23 last.
The sources informed that Airtel mobile towers have been damaged due to rain triggered massive landslides at several points near Simang in neighbouring Siang district.
The Siang belt, along with other parts of the state, has been experiencing moderate to heavy rains for the past several days.
As Airtel is the main mobile service provider in the district due to its breakdown most of the official, business communities and general public are badly affected, DIPRO report said on Monday.
