NAHARLAGUN, Feb 2:  In a simple yet impressive event, the induction ceremony of the 3rd batch of MBBS students was held today here at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIHMS).
A total of 50 students comprising 30 girls and 20 boys have taken admission and the batch has a pan-India character as students from different states like Kerala, UP, Bihar, Rajasthan and West Bengal have chosen TRIHMS as their preferred institute. During the event, TRIHMS Director Dr Moji Jini, Dean and Principal Dr S Bhattacharya, CMS Dr Hage Ambing, DMS Dr Tawsik and senior faculties shared their experiences and gave advice to the new batch. The Director while highlighting the history behind the birth of the first and only medical college of Arunachal Pradesh, reminded the budding doctors about the responsibilities and obligations they have to shoulder while serving society. He urged them to inculcate knowledge, ethics and wisdom to become good doctors and better human beings.
The students and faculties were tested with RT PCR prior to the function and all of them tested negative. The classes for the new batch will commence from February 3.
