ITANAGAR, Nov 11: Setting an example of exceptional initiative, India’s largest oil marketing company, the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has launched a unique scheme exclusively for the upcoming Diwali festival titled ‘Tree Cheers’.
“As a part of the scheme, every new vehicle that arrives at an Indian Oil petrol pump for fuel during November 12-16, IOCL will be planting a sapling on behalf of the customer,” Asst. Manager (AP), IOCL Nobin Tage informed. He further added that the customer will also get a free Indian Oil Xtra Reward membership with bonus reward points which can be redeemed at Indian Oil petrol pumps for fuel.
“As a responsible corporate, Indian Oil cares for the environment as much as all other responsible citizens do and this is a step towards a greener future,” Tage said.
