Miao, Mar 18: Showing exemplary dedication, the Indian Army's Miao Battalion helped reunite a missing man with his family, who went missing during Lockdown in 2020.
Identified as Sanjay Kumar of Harda, Madhya Pradesh and in a mentally delicate condition, the man has been struck in Miao since Lockdown last year. He was staying near Kalimata Mandir in Miao, informed an Army Officer.
The officer revealed that a team of soldiers of Miao battalion spoke to DC Sanjay Gupta and the local police station at Harda in Madhya Pradesh and were successful in locating the whereabouts of the man's relatives.
Today a team of Police from Madhya Pradesh led by ASI, B.S Marskuli reached Miao and met Sanjay. Indian army officials are in regular contact with the relatives, police and a team is being sent shortly by Miao battalion of Indian Army to New Delhi where the individual will be handed over to his family members.
Meanwhile, Kumar's mother expressed deep gratitude towards the security forces in going beyond the call of duty.
