Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
ITANAGAR, JUL 17: IMC ward members from Mowb-II with support from local youths and elderly denizens today conducted social service in the area by constructing garbage beds.
Ward Member Tagam Tayu informed that as part of the day’s activities, residents were appealed to throw their garbage at these garbage beds so that garbage-lifting vehicles can deliver their duties properly and the area remains free from accumulation of dirt. Even if the vehicles don’t arrive regularly, deposition of garbage at these points will give the locality a cleaner look, Tagam said.
The denizens were appealed not to throw plastic waste and garbage on streets and places near institutions like hospitals, schools, colleges, offices and open markets.
