Yupia Jul 28: Itanagar Municipal Corporation Sanitization team led by team leader Executive Engineer Er. Tadar Tarang carried out sanitization drive at containment zone declared villages of Chiputha-1, Mani and Midpu-II under Doimukh Sub-Division. Five manual sprayer and one QRV  fire tender were pressed to sanitise the entire identified areas in the containment zone. 
Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare, Pige Ligu was also present and supervised the sanitation programme alongwith District Medical Officer Dr. Komleng Perme, DSO Dr. R. Ronya ,MO i/c PHC Chiputha Dr. Kipa Seema and SDO Doimukh. 
While briefing the mediapersons about works done by the district administration to fight COVID-19, the Deputy Commissioner also appealed the denizens of Papum Pare district including all remote areas to strictly prohibit the movement of the public till the situation normalises  and to  follow the SOPs issued by the government to contain the further spread of coronavirus in the district.
As per report received from DSO Yupia, so far 784 samples have been tested in the containment zone i.e Chiputha-I, Mani and Midpu-II villages. Out of 13 positive cases detected, 5 have been discharged and  8 are active cases. DIPRO
