CHANGLANG, Sep 8: A training for teachers conducted by IIT Guwahati, meant for the betterment of science education and innovation in the schools of Changlang district was conducted here at the DC office on Tuesday.
Faculties of IIT Guwahati’s Energy and Design Department, Dr. Harsh Chaturvedi and Dr. Charu Monga conducted the training session.
Deputy Commissioner Changlang Dr. Devansh Yadav exhorted the teachers to make optimum use of the training so as to make the students aware regarding IT and science. The PowerPoint Presentation touched the topics such as robotics, ideation and design thinking, emerging technologies like Virtual Reality, 3D printing, kits for printed electronic devices, activities based on educational kits, training on using digital resources by teachers etc.
Around 30 students of all the schools from various blocks of the district also attended the training. DIPRO
