Shillong, Nov 23: Institute of Hotel Management, Shillong in collaboration with Union Ministry of Tourism and supported by Meghalaya Institute of Entrepreneurship organised a training programme titled ‘Capacity Building for Service Providers’ for the inclusive trainees of Bethany Society, Shillong here on November 19 last.
Inaugurating the training, Secretary, North Eastern Council (NEC) K Moses Chalai stressed on the importance of skill training for differently-abled persons. Executive Director, Bethany Society Carmo Naroha informed the training is the first of its kind to be conducted for the differently-abled to help them in getting employment opportunities.
