ZIRO, Nov 25: Inspector General of Police (Law & Order) Chukhu Apa reviewed the security preparedness of Lower Subansiri, Kurung Kumey, Kra Daadi and Kamle districts for the upcoming PR elections in a meeting today with the respective SPs and DySPs here.
SPs of Lower Subansiri-Harsh Indora, Kamle-Rahul Gupta, Kra-Daadi- Dusu Kaling and DSPs of Kra-Daadi-Torum Makcha, Kurung Kumey-Kuru Tatung and Lower Subansiri-Tasi Darang participated in the meeting. Various aspects of security arrangements pertaining to manpower requirements for polling stations and communication models to be adopted based on sensitivity mapping of polling stations were discussed in detail.
Earlier, the IGP also inspected the under-construction police building and instructed the contractors to adhere to the quality of construction.
Later, he also attended the Sampark Sabha with all the police personnel of Lower Subansiri district and heard their grievances, giving the assurance to mitigate them. DIPRO
