ITANAGAR, Jul 3:A conglomeration of the Indigenous Community Based Organizations under the banner of Indigenous Faith & Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) on Monday met Chief Minister, Pema Khandu and submitted a memorandum in regards to further development of indigenous communities of the state.
During the meeting, the delegates at length discussed about the problems being faced by Indigenous people of the state like protection, preservation and promotion of indigenous faith, cultural heritages and languages.
Meanwhile after a patient hearing, CM Khandu has positively assured to look into the matters put forward by the delegates.
Representatives from Nyishi Indigenous Faith & Cultural Society (NIFCS), Donyi Polo Yelam Kebang (DPYK), Galo Indigenous Faith & Cultural Council (GIFCC), Rangfraa Faith Promotion Society (RFPS), Meder Nello Council (MNC), Mishmi Faith Promotion Society (MFP) were present on the occasion.
