Briefing on the new guidelines, the DC informed that Paid Quarantine and Quarantine Facility Centres will no more be available for those entering the Capital and all those entering from other states have to get themselves Antigen tested at the points of entry and if their samples are found negative they may move towards their respective destinations. “However, if he/she tests positive, they have to be shifted to Covid Care Centre and also those tested negative have to follow the SOPs at least for 14 days and should inform the health team if there are any symptoms,” DC stated.
Regarding winding up of the Paid Quarantine Centres (PQCs), DC clarified that it will be done once those currently staying at the PQCs are discharged after testing negative and on a gradual basis by evaluating the situation minutely. However, the Dedicated CCCs and DCCCs would continue to function, he added. While informing that hotels, restaurants, gyms and yoga centres have been allowed to operate maintaining SOPs, he divulged that to ensure proper adherence, he will conduct a meeting with all the proprietors of hotels, restaurants, gyms and allied service centres soon.
“For inter-district movements, those moving out of the Capital and have to travel via Assam will have to collect an ‘Exit Permit’ at the Gumto check gate. However, for inter-district movements inside Arunachal there will be no requirement for permit and Antigen Testing,” DC added. “As per the new SOPs, Rs 500 will be charged for Antigen Test from the Non-APSTs and Rs 250 from the APSTs as well as central government employees,” he said.

Informing that Rs 500 will be charged for not wearing masks and Rs 200 for spitting in public areas, he appealed to the denizens to cooperate with the administration and follow all SOPs for safety.
