Itanagar, Oct 27: The Itanagar Capital Region district administration today conducted a training programme for those assigned duties during the upcoming preliminary examination of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination 2020.
At the auditorium of the Dera Natung Government College, coordinators, additional coordinators, centre superintendents, assistant centre superintendents were briefed about their roles and responsibilities for the smooth conduct of the exam.
The Deputy Commissioner Komkar Dulom stressed that it is the collective responsibility of the entire team to ensure that the exam is conducted smoothly without lacunae and hence the training has been conducted to ensure that everyone is well aware of their roles and also updated about the entire process of the exam.
He also directed all the coordinators to visit their assigned sub centres and to take stock of the preparation for the successful conduct of the exam.
Also in view of Covid-19 pandemic, the DC also directed them to ensure that all the SOPs are followed properly during the exam.
The Nodal Officer for the exam, EAC Lod Takker who imparted the training explained in detail about the whole process of conducting the exam.
For the Capital Region, Itanagar centre has 29 exam centres and Naharlagun centre has 23 exam centres. A total of 12,335 are appearing for prelims from ICR this time.
Among others, the ADC Talom Dupak, SDO Sangeeta Yirang along with other officers and Additional coordinators, Exam Superintendents, Asstt Superintendents attended the brief training.
