Aalo, Nov 27: As a part of commemoration of the ongoing Adoption Month, an awareness programme on Legal Adoption was conducted today here at the office of DD ICDS-cum-DCPU.
Chairperson, Mother Vision, President and General Secretary of APWWS West Siang branch, members of CWC, Juvenile Justice Board and other stakeholders from the Child Protection Society (CPS) attended the programme. DD ICDS-cum-DCPO C.Tangjang urged the participants to spread awareness on legal adoption to ensure all cases of adoption in West Siang district follow the legal parameters. She also informed that the district’s CPS is the main body to decide on the legalities of adoption.
