ITANAGAR, Nov 8: Itanagar Cricket Club Blue team lifted the First Donyi Polo Cricket Academy Triangular Series 2020 in the finals played at IG park today by defeating ICC Green team by 1 wicket.
The man of the match was awarded to Biki Kumar who hit 41 not out and man of the series award went to Toko Techir who claimed 7 wickets in the tournament and hit 19 runs overall.
Earlier, the Green team' Captain Momer Ori won the toss and decided to bat first in which they set a target of 217 in 36.2 overs where Kumar Nyompu of Green Team hit 123 runs.
In reply Blue team chased down the target in 44.5 overs losing 9 wickets.
The closing day of the 1st ever triangular series of the Itanagar cricket club (ICC) was attended by Nabam Roger, Hony. secretary Itanagar Cricket Association (ICA), President Itanagar cricket club, Suraj Tayam among others.
