Itanagar, Aug 27: The Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex, Talo Potom launched the special Covid-19 vaccination campaign today for the teachers and staffers of government and private schools of the Itanagar Capital Complex in presence of DMO Dr Mandip Perme and others at the government middle school, D - Sector Naharlagun.
The campaign will be conducted from August 27- September 4 next. All those who are unvaccinated shall be vaccinated and 2nd dose would be administered to those who have already taken the 1st dose and completed 84 days. 
The DMO informed that the campaign is an effort to completely immunise all the staff of the schools prior to opening of physical classes so that all necessary precaution could be taken to control the transmission of Covid-19 from teachers and staff to students once schools reopen.
The DC has sought cooperation from all for the successful conduct of the campaign.
The launching program was attended by Dr.Tahan Mize, District RCH Officer, Dr.G.Tali, DSO(IDSP), DANO, Headmaster In-Charge Tadar Yaya among others.
