PASIGHAT, Mar 9: Wing Commander S. Shanmugam, 11 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force, Guwahati called on Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu at his office chamber here on Wednesday and discussed modalities to conduct awareness campaign followed by Indian Air Force (IAF) Recruitment Rally at a suitable date in East Siang district. 
DC Taggu while extending his gratitude opined that the IAF has always been very prompt in conducting awareness campaign-cum Recruitment Rally in Pasighat and so far motivated many youths of the district and nearby districts of Arunachal Pradesh too to choose as career option by joining IAF to serve the nation with pride. Such efforts and helpful assignments of IAF has cemented a strong trust with the district administration.  East Siang administration would provide all logistic support and cooperation to the IAF in the mission, assured Taggu. 
During the brief discussion, Wing Commander S. Shanmugam assured the Deputy Commissioner of the best support and assistance from the IAF to the youths of the district in particular and the state as a whole. Shanmugam also met the Retired Group Captain (IAF) M. Panging Pao today during his official tour to Pasighat and held discussion various issues including smooth and fair conduct of awareness campaign and recruitment Rally at Pasighat soon. DIPRO
