ITANAGAR, Sep  6: Hundreds of people participated  in ' Run for Fit India-Run for Fit  Arunachal' Marathon organized  by the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha under  Fit India Campaign.
Participating in the inaugural function, Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs Mama Natung appealed everyone to participate in such effort to keep ourselves fit.  We should join and continue such initiative  of Fit India Campaign  to keep our health & mind fit, he said.
Earlier, joining the event virtually, Union  Sports minister Kiren Rijiju also appealed to everyone to join the  Fit India campaign.  “ Those who have fit and a healthy  body have  good immunity that helps us to fight against COVID-19," Rijiju said.

MP East-Tapir Gao, BJP (State) General secretary Chow Zingnu Namchoom, BJYM members also participated in the event
Similar marathons were organized  by the district units of Changlang, West Kameng and others.
