The procession began from Rajiv Gandhi University Tinali and culminated at the residence of Toko Runel (the deceased’s father) in Nirjuli.
Speaking to media persons, TYWA President Toko Lento termed it rare of the rarest case that two siblings were murdered in one night.
‘We appeal to the state government especially the Home department to monitor this heinous crime on priority basis at the highest level with its Assam counterpart to ensure the arrest of all suspects and exemplary punishment be given as per law as the incident occurred in the boundary  area of neighboring state Assam,' he added.
He also appealed to the Assam police to conduct a fair investigation.
