SEPPA, Apr 20 : The denizens of Bameng and Seppa towns of East Kameng district benefitted immensely from a couple of first of its kind of Multi-Specialty Health Camps conducted on April 15 and 16 respectively by TRIHMS Naharlagun in collaboration with Department of Health and Family Welfare.
The team comprised of different specialists and super specialists along with their well-trained supporting staff units. The participating departments included; Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Dermatology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental, Physical & Medical Rehabilitation (PMR), Orthopedics, Radiology, Plastic Surgery, Cardiology and Diagnostic Laboratory.
The day one camp at Bameng was inaugurated by ZPC Doba Lamnioi. Patients from the nearby and distant villages such as Lada, Liyak, Lapung, Riang, Beyong, Liyang, etc thronged the camp. A total of 500 or more patients were benefitted during the camp.
Day 2 camp was conducted at District Hospital Seppa. Local MLA Tapuk Taku, DC Abhishek Polumatla and PD Seppa Ashok Tajo attended the camp. A total of 600 patients were benefitted from the camp.
Both the camps were led by Director TRIHMS, Dr.Moji Jini. During the camps, glasses and medicines were distributed free of cost to the patients.
