ZIRO, Jul 15: Hong village has been declared as containment zone in the wake of upsurge of Covid 19 cases in the village. Hanoko , Kyle Byah and Dilopalyang have been declared as buffer zone.
In the order for containment, the District Magistrate-cum-Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Somcha Lowang has directed the residents of these areas not to move out from their houses till the contact tracing is conducted and unless permitted by the medical team. The DMO/DSO shall carry out Rapid Antigen tests based on the contact tracing. No public gatherings or meetings will be permitted in the containment zone, the order further states.
The Incident Commanders of these areas appointed by the District Administration have also been directed to strictly monitor the implementation of the containment orders. DIPRO
