AALO, Sep 11: An Educational Block and a Library with 15000 volumes on several subjects was inaugurated today at North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU), Aalo by Home Minister Bamang Felix as part of the varsity’s 9th Foundation Day celebrations, here.
Home Minister Felix in his deliberation congratulated the NEFTU for successfully completing nine years since its establishment in 2014.
Also lauding the land donors for donating land to establish the varsity, Minister Felix said that such support and cooperation from the community will go a long way in ensuring bright future for our youths.
Addressing the students present, Minister Felix called on them to implement their technical knowledge in practical terms by undertaking welfare activities for the local residents. He suggested them to adopt villages and execute their technical knowledge.
The Minister also advised the teaching faculties to give their best in transforming their students into valuable assets for the state.
He further emphasised on inculcating Pan-Arunachal attitude and sentiment among the denizens of the state.
Earlier, prizes and recognitions were accorded to best performing faculties, non-faculties and students as part of the celebration.
Among others, NEFTU VC Dr Tejum Padu, Dean Dr Tomi Ete, spoke on the occasion.
