AALO, Jul 11: In a meeting held with HoDs today, the Deputy Commissioner West Siang, Gamli Padu took stock of the recent damages due to monsoon across the district and asked them to keep their focus now on immediate restoration measures whatever is possible by the concerned department.

He also asked all HoDs and administrative officers in the outposts to make consolidated reports on all damages for onward submission to the government. The department of Horticulture and Agriculture has been asked to prepare a detail damage report of paddy fields all over the district and the veterinary department has been directed to work relentlessly to contain Foot and Mouth Diseases in Mithuns spreading in many parts of the district by deputing veterinary staffers wherever needed for treatment. DC also insisted for buffer stocks of food grains, medicines and fuel items for such calamities.

 
The ADC Kamba-Aalo, DVO, EE Electrical, DDA, DHO, DFCSO, representatives from DMO and EE PHED attended the meeting to present their problems and share constructive suggestions.
