Roing, Aug 27: The 41st District Level Monitoring Committee Meeting for Lower Dibang Valley district was held today. Chaired by Deputy Commissioner K. N. Damo, the meeting was attended by ZPC Obang Ngupok, heads of departments, administrative officers, PRI members and representatives of CBOs. Centrally Sponsored and State Sponsored Schemes were reviewed during the meeting.
The DC advised all the HoDs to coordinate with elected representatives for proposals and implementation of developmental projects. All the HoDs must compulsorily attend DLMC meetings with presentations and not miss the meetings unless there is an unavoidable emergency, he added. 
The DC also directed the DPO to compile the details of projects left unfinished due to shortage of fund, to be taken up with the government. He also apprised about the surge of Covid positivity rate in the district and reiterated the importance of administration of vaccine.
PRI members requested the officers to coordinate with the PRI members for better selection and implementation of schemes taking into consideration the requirements of the grass root level people. The government should consider manpower recruitment alongside infrastructure development, so as to maintain the assets created, said the ZPM.
DPO Marto Dirchi informed that Lower Dibang Valley district is faring well in the state in many parameters and advised that work given to an agency should be done properly. DIPRO
