ITANAGAR, Feb 14: Speaker Legislative Assembly cum Chairman of the Golden Jubilee celebration of Arunachal Pradesh, P.D. Sona informed that the valedictory function of the month-long celebration will be held at the Yupia outdoor stadium.
Addressing media persons at the APSLA conference hall on Monday, Sona said due to  COVID-19 and other issues,  the decision to celebrate the day in the erstwhile five districts – Kameng, Subansiri, Siang, Lohit and Tirap – on the same day had to be dropped.
Chief Minister of Assam,  Himanta Biswa Sarma along with Bollywood actor cum brand ambassador of the celebration, Sanjay Dutt will attend  the valedictory function as the chief guest and special guest respectively on February 20. Besides formal programmes, various cultural events, workshops, symposiums and seminars, etc., will be held from February 16- 20, he added.
Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal, Indian Idol fame Salman Ali are among the artists who will perform at the event.
