Itanagar, Aug 9: Minister for Health and Family Welfare and SJETA Alo Libang on Sunday visited the Deepak Nabam Living Home, a rehabilitation centre for people with mental disabilities here at Senki Park and launched its website.
Launching the website-www.deepaknabamlivinghome.org, the Health Minister appreciated the services provided by the Home and termed its founder Deepak Nabam as an “exceptional individual” for rendering humanitarian services to the people of the lowest strata of society who are suffering from mental illness. He assured his department will ensure every facility to the Home as and when required.
Director of Health Services Dr. Moromor Lego while speaking during the technical session on mental health elaborated on the initiatives taken up by the state government in this regard and lauded the services provided by the Home.
Director of Social Justice and Empowerment and Tribal Affairs, Yumlam Kaha also expressed his satisfaction on the services provided by the Home. ES Newsdesk
