ITANAGAR, Jun 15: Secretary, (Health and Family Welfare), P Parthiban was given a warm farewell by the Health Department at D.K. Convention Hall on his transfer as Deputy Secretary, Department of Expenditure, New Delhi.
Parthiban had taken over the charge as Secretary (H&FW) on 28th August 2019. He was also looking after the additional charge of MD (NHM) for some time.
"It was due to his dynamic and untiring leadership that the Health department could contain the Covid pandemic in the state," said Dr. M. Lego, DHS adding that his contribution will always be remembered.
Meanwhile, Dr. Emi Rumi, DFW, thanked him for streamlining the administrative posts of the department.
Dr. Hage Ambing, DME, appreciated his contribution in the healthcare system and his instrumental role in the setting up of nursing colleges in the state and wished him all the best for his next innings.
