Ompuli, July 9: An outreach health camp was jointly organized by Nabum Takey Memorial Trust and District Health Society Papum Pare at Ompuli today.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sagalee  Nabum Tuki who is also the President of the Trust said that the non-profitable Trust was created in the memory of his late father Nabum Takey with the objective of serving the downtrodden sections of society in whatever possible means especially to promote health in the community. He assured the public that he will continue to provide similar kind of assistance to the needy people in future as well.
Attending the health camp as the  chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare Sachin Rana advised the villagers to avail services provided at the doorstep. He also stressed on Covid-19 vaccination as the cases are reportedly rising again in the state.
Meanwhile, Dr.K.Perme DMO Papum Pare while narrating the  services being available during the camp also highlighted  flagship programme like PMJAY,CMAAY etc.
Later Tuki gifted  umbrella and mosquito nets to all students of government residential school, Ompuli as token of love and appreciation.
Altogether 230 patients from Kunglo,Depo, Tamang, Pepso,Ompuli,Sangrik, Montung and Mepsoro villages were treated free of cost.
