LIKABALI, Mar 20: The Galo Youth Organization (GYO) today successfully concluded the 2nd phase of its drug abuse awareness campaign here at the Government Higher Secondary School.
the 2nd phase, GYO has covered two districts namely West Siang and Lower Siang. The organisation has thanked RGU professor Tomo Riba and Kennedy Bagra who is engaged in the noble mission of bringing back the drug addicts into the mainstream for participating in the campaign as resource persons. Representatives from the Galo Welfare Society (GWS) and Kargu Kardi Students’ Union who participated in the mission were also thanked by GYO led by its President Bajom Tali and General Secretary Luknyak Kena. The organisation has appealed to all sections of society to join hands in eradicating the evil.
The campaign was conducted under the aegis of GWS and PSACS and Drug De-addiction Cell, Directorate of Health Services were the collaborators.
