ITANAGAR, Jul 26: The Galo Welfare Society (GWS) on behalf of the Galo community has mourned the death of noted artist of the state, Takar Riba who passed away on July 24 at the age of 73.
In his untimely demise, the Galo community has lost a true pioneer, an inspiration to many budding artists, a connoisseur of art and aesthetics, a social worker and a philosopher for harmonious growth of society, the GWS said in a release today.
