ITANAGAR, Feb 6: On behalf of the entire Galo community the Galo Welfare Society (GWS) has conveyed congratulations to Major General Jarken Gamlin (Retd.), AVSM, SM, VSM and the former General Secretary, AAPSU and NESO Gumjum Haider on being appointed as Member of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and State Information Commissioner of the Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission (APIC) respectively.
The vast amount of experiences and wisdom the two personalities have gathered in their respective fields will guide them to discharge their new responsibilities with honesty and sincerity to the satisfaction of the state government, GWS in its press release stated. It also expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Pema Khandu for appointing the two important personalities of the Galo community to the high posts having immense public importance.
