Itanagar, Sep 13: Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY), the flagship health assurance scheme of the state government achieved a significant milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GNRC Hospitals in Guwahati on September 10 last.
The MoU was signed in presence of Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, P Parthiban.
Founded by Dr. Nomal Chandra Borah in 1985, GNRC is the first super-speciality healthcare centre in the Northeast and currently operates four hospitals offering over 600 beds. CMAAY will be available at GNRC’s Dispur and North Guwahati campus and will cover services for core medical specialities such as Neurology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery, Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement Surgery and other specialities.
