Itanagar, Jan 29: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.), has condoled the demise of former Home Minister and Deputy Speaker, Takar Marde. He said that with the passing of Shri Marde, Arunachal Pradesh has lost a compassionate and dedicated social activist who devoted his life to the upliftment of the downtrodden and worked selflessly for the welfare of society.
The Governor recalled late Shri Marde as a committed leader whose sincere service, unwavering dedication, and steadfast concern for the people earned him wide respect and admiration. His meaningful contributions to public life have left an enduring imprint on the State and will continue to inspire generations to come.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of former Minister and MLA, Takar Marde, describing his passing as a great loss to the State and its people.
In his condolence message, Mein stated that Late Takar Marde was a distinguished leader and an experienced administrator who devoted his life to public service and the overall development of Arunachal Pradesh. His significant contributions to governance, social development, and public welfare have left a lasting impact on the State.
The Deputy Chief Minister noted that Late Marde was widely respected across party lines for his simplicity, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people. His dedication and service will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.
In his message, Mein conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members, relatives, and well-wishers, and prayed for strength and solace for them during this moment of profound sorrow. He also prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
