ITANAGAR, Mar 30: The Commissioner Public Works Department, Kaling Tayeng has ordered a departmental inquiry under a superintending engineer after the under construction Kumey bridge on the Gangte-Tali road collapsed on March 28 evening.
The government has taken serious note of the said collapse of the under construction bridge. The Chief Engineer (CZ-A), PWD was directed to inspect the bridge on March 29 itself. Further, a Departmental Inquiry under a Superintending Engineer has been ordered to find the causes of collapse and fix responsibility on official(s)/agency; the report is to be submitted within a week, the
