ITANAGAR, Dec 2: On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities to be observed on December 3, Governor Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) has conveyed his good wishes to the differently-abled people of the state.
Underscoring the day’s significance, the Governor called for people’s participation and commitment for rehabilitation of the differently-abled persons through sustainable livelihood prospects and independent living opportunities. “As embedded in our culture and traditions, I am confident that we will rise to the need of our differently-abled brethren,” he said in his message. 
“On this momentous day, let us utilize, focus and appreciate the abilities of our differently-abled co-citizens for the higher good of the nation,” the Governor's message read. PRO Raj Bhavan
