ITANAGAR, Feb 14: The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra met the Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Santosh K Mall at New Delhi on February 12 and took up the issues related to opening of Kendriya Vidyalayas in the state.
Sharing his observations, Mishra said that more Kendriya Vidyalayas will help in better education for the state’s youth which in turn will be useful in focusing on placement of its students and improvement of their institutional ranking thereby increasing the prospects of the students as they grow up.
It is worth mentioning that the Governor recently chaired the presentation session of the final report by the ‘Placement Review Committee’ to the state cabinet at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar which dealt with the placement issue of three premier institutes of higher education, i.e. Rajiv Gandhi University, National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh and North Eastern Institute of Science and Technology.
Governor also made the Commissioner talk to the Deputy Chief Minister of the state Chowna Mein for ironing out the local difficulties in the opening of Kendriya Vidyalayas in Arunachal Pradesh. Raj Bhawan PRO
